Knicks coach Mike Woodson acknowledged that he made a mistake in deciding to
leave Carmelo Anthony in Monday's game before the star forward injured his
right knee.

Woodson revealed Tuesday during an interview with ESPN New York 98.7 FM that
Anthony had asked to be removed from the game due to knee discomfort before
suffering the injury in the second quarter.

武僧承認，他犯了一個錯誤，明知MELO右膝受傷，仍讓MELO在對戰騎士時出賽。MELO在第
二節被自己絆倒受傷前就曾要求教練不要把他列入出賽名單，因為他的膝蓋不舒服。

Woodson decided to leave Anthony in the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers,
and the All-Star aggravated the knee injury after tripping without contact.

但武僧直到Melo在對戰騎士時因非接觸式跌倒後，才讓他離場，這也加重了Melo的膝關節
損傷。

"Melo was hurt," Woodson said. "For him to ask me to come out of the game
before he actually took that spill made me realize that something wasn't
right. He's never ever, ever, even hinted about coming out of the game
[before Monday]. I play him too much in that regard. Melo's a trooper -- he's
a warrior, he's a tough kid."

Woodson was asked during the interview why he chose to leave Anthony in the
game after he requested to come out.

"I should have [taken him out]," Woodson said. "Stubborn coach -- I just
didn't."

武僧說：MELO在賽前就受傷了，在比賽前他曾問我是否可以把他移出比賽名單，但我沒有
同意，讓他在場上受傷讓我知道這是個不正確的決定。在對戰騎士之前，他從來沒有暗示
我這麼做過。我讓他上場時間太長了， MELO是一個戰士，他一直是一個堅韌的孩子。

伍僧在接受記者採訪時有人問他為什麼在MELO要求戰對騎士時不出賽時，不把他移出出賽
名單。武僧(一個倔強的教練)說：我應該不要讓他出賽，但我沒有這樣做。

Shortly after admitting he made a mistake in leaving Carmelo Anthony in Monday
’s game against Cleveland, Woodson said on ESPN New York 98.7 FM that he
should have played Amar’e Stoudemire in crunch time against Miami on Sunday.

Stoudemire sat for the final 7:56 of the Knicks’ loss to the Heat. New York
missed 8 of 12 shots with Stoudemire on the bench.

Woodson on Tuesday admitted that Stoudemire should have been on the floor
down the stretch against the Heat.

在承認讓Melo在對騎士時上場這個錯誤後不久，他也說對戰熱火時的關鍵時刻，他應該放
阿罵在場上。

阿罵在對熱火時的7點56分呆坐在板凳上看著尼克被逆轉(那時尼克12次出手丟了8次)。現
在武僧承認，阿罵在對熱火時的決勝期應該在場上。

“Bad coaching. You can blame that on coach,” he said on “The Stephen A.
Smith & Ryan Ruocco Show.”

Stoudemire has been playing with a 30-minute restriction from the Knicks
medical staff. Woodson said that he’s been mindful of that restriction when
playing Stoudemire but added, “That’s no excuse. He should have been in
there at the end of that game.”

Stoudemire played 21 minutes against the Heat, so the minutes restriction wasn
’t a deterrent on Sunday.

武僧說：我是個壞教練，你們真的可以責怪教練。尼克醫療團隊說阿罵上場時間只能有30
分鐘，我考慮到這個限制，但他補充說：沒有任何藉口，他在比賽結束前的決勝期應該在
球場上。阿罵對戰熱火時只上21分鐘，所以在決勝期限制他的上場時間不是個好理由。

Woodson said after the game that he preferred to have Jason Kidd, Raymond
Felton, J.R. Smith, Anthony and Tyson Chandler on the floor because he liked
the Chris Bosh-Chandler matchup.

武僧賽後說，他寧願放KIDD、肥頓、JR、MELO、拳王在場上，為了對位Bosh 的小陣容，
他覺得拳王可以吃掉Bosh。

If Stoudemire were on the floor, he would have had to guard Bosh or one of
the Heat perimeter players.

“That’s a tough matchup for any big,” Woodson said.

Still, he acknowledged that Stoudemire should have been on the floor.

“Hey, you live and you learn,” he said. “I learned from it.”

如果阿罵在場上，他將不得不防守Bosh或熱火的外線球員之一。這是一個艱難的決定。不
過，他也承認，阿罵那時應該在場上。不過因為這場學費我從中學到了不少東西。

Stoudemire played in the closing minutes of the Knicks’ win over Cleveland
on Monday.

He had 22 points in the game to help New York, minus Anthony, rebound from a
22-point deficit.

Prior to that game, Stoudemire’s fourth-quarter usage had been sparse.

阿罵在對戰騎士時打到比賽結束，他在比賽中得到22分，幫助尼克從22分的落後逆轉勝。
在那場比賽之前，小斯的第四節很少得到上場的機會。

知錯能改善莫大焉，近來替武僧付的多場學費，至少讓他看懂了MELO和阿罵的使用說明書

But Woodson went on to make a startling acknowledgment, saying he overrode
Anthony's request to come out of the game—telling him to play through it
instead—shortly before Anthony tumbled.

但是武僧做出了一個令人吃驚的確認，他說，他推翻MELO對騎士停止出賽的請求，告訴他
把比賽打到結束，不久後MELO就在場上跌倒。

任何一個教練在球員告訴你他受傷了還要球員帶傷上場都是不對的行為，但我想他一定比
任何一個人都懊悔他當時的錯誤決定，就像郭泓志比任何人都更懊惱於那一球。

『贏了，什麼問題都有答案；輸了，什麼答案都有問題。』

我們應該把加油聲築成教練選手背後的強韌靠山，要把輸贏當作人生起落必須一併吞下去
的男子漢對決。

我們不應該只在○○隊風光的時候才短暫跑來取暖，我們更不應該在○○隊失落的時候，
拚命挖苦揶揄，把他們打在地上還踹好幾腳。
