With all due respect to starting center Kenyon Martin, Patrick Ewing might
have been the Knicks’ best option at center last night. Instead, Ewing did
his first-ever MSG Network telecast — on the postgame show.

“The Big Fella” said the sky’s the limit once the Knicks get back their
current Big Fella — injured 7-foot-1 center Tyson Chandler, who missed his
fourth straight game last night with a bulging disk in his spine.

“Anything is possible when Tyson gets back and this team is completely
healthy,’’ said Ewing, who sat courtside during the Knicks 106-94 win over
Orlando. “People always asked. Would I pass the ball? It depended on what
time of the game it was — but if I had Melo, I would get it to him.’’
