Mike Woodson revealed in today’s conference call that if Pablo Prigioni
returns as expected for Game 2 against the Celtics on Tuesday, he will be
able to stick defensive specialist Iman Shumpert on series x-factor Jeff
Green.
武僧在今日電話連線訪問說如果老普能按照預期的在周二第二場對老賽的比賽回來,他就能
夠讓防守特殊專家香波防守第一輪X因子 JEFF GREEN.
Without Prigioni, the Knicks had to go at the start with rookie Chris
Copeland on Boston’s athletic small forward. Green toasted the Knicks for 20
points in the first half and the Knicks looked in danger of blowing Game 1.
沒有老P參賽,尼克只能讓菜鳥CC對上波士頓動感體能小前鋒.小綠在上半局把尼克像土司般
的烤焦,拿到了20分讓尼克隊在第一場比賽看起來岌岌可危.
However, Mike Woodson made the adjustment in the second half and Carmelo
Anthony slowed down Green, who finished with just six second-half points.
However, a Melo-Green matchup is not the ideal situation because the Knicks
want to keep Anthony out of foul trouble and fresher on offense.
但是,武僧在下半場時做了調整讓瓜瓜去拖住小綠,如同名字般,小綠只拿了慘綠的6分.
可是瓜瓜-小綠組合並不是夢幻的組合因為尼克想要瓜瓜遠離犯規麻煩跟能在進攻上更靈
活更自由.
With Prigioni expected back, the Knicks would have Raymond Felton dog Paul
Pierce, who was Shumpert’s man yesterday. Felton actually did good work on
Pierce late, forcing him into that errant pass that Anthony intercepted for a
breakaway layup.
老普預期的回歸將會讓尼克決定讓肥頓防守香波上場比賽防守的對象,Paul Pierce.肥頓在
上場比賽後期其實防守Pierce防的不錯,強迫他亂傳結果讓瓜瓜攔截到還上籃得分.
“If Pablo ‘s back, the lineup changes to start out anyway,’’ Woodson
said. “We probably have Raymond on Paul, Iman on Green. That’s what we
envisioned coming into the series before Pablo got hurt. I thought Melo did
an excellent job on Green. Green’s a tough cover for anybody.’’

The Knicks’ defense is what won Game 1 – holding Boston to a playoff-record
eight fourth-quarter points and without a field goal in the final 4:32.
尼克的防守是贏下第一場比賽的原因-波士頓在季後賽創下紀錄在第四節只拿了8分,且在
比賽的最後4分32秒都沒有得分.
“It what’s good teams are supposed to do,’’ Woodson said today. “We’ve
been solid in that area all year. We’ve been one of the best fourth-quarter
defensive teams in the league.
"好的隊伍本來就應該這樣做,"武僧說."我們一整年都做的紮實,在聯盟裡,我們可是最會
在第四節做好防守的其中一隊阿."
That’s the time you have to step up and make plays. We’ve done that. I
thought yesterday’s game, we were probably more solid than we’ve ever been
all season in terms of locking in and rotating.’’
現在正是硬起來打好比賽的時間,而我們做到了.我認為昨日的比賽,我們可能比正規賽
還要踏實的在做防守跟輪轉.
Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin, who played the fourth quarter over an
ineffective starting center Tyson Chandler, were the defensive stars. Just
like they were once with the New Jersey Nets, who advanced to two straight
NBA Finals.
老基跟K罵在第四節取代了效率不好的先發中鋒拳王,這兩人成了防守明星,就像之前他倆
在澤西籃網兩次連續晉級到了NBA冠軍賽一樣.
“Both of them are still relentless and savvy,’’ Woodson said.
"他們兩人還是一樣的有狠勁跟機伶,"武僧說.
Woodson said he has no time frame on Amar’e Stoudemire’s playoff return but
said he will thrust him right back into the rotation. That would mean rookie
Chris Copeland, who struggled in his playoff debut, forced to start because
of the Prigioni injury, would probably have to exit the rotation.
武僧說他沒有阿罵季後賽回歸的時間表但是他說如果他能回來,他會把阿罵馬上塞進上場
輪替表,這表示因為老普受傷而被迫上場且在首場季後賽表現不佳的菜鳥CC可能會掉出輪
替人員名單了.
