“I didn’t make it happen for us and that’s what’s disappointing,”
 Woodson said.

武僧談溜馬以較低順位擊敗尼克:"很難過沒辦法把戰局拉到G7，這真的很失望。"


“It’s tough to go out this way,” coach Mike Woodson said at the same time
the doors to this funereal room were opened. “We had our chances.”
“We just didn’t make the plays coming down the stretch,” Woodson said.

武僧:"這樣的出局方式真的很難過，我們曾經有過機會。"

"我們只是沒辦法投進球來終止對方的氣勢。"


There was little consolation in that in here. Tyson Chandler sat on a stool,
staring straight ahead, his right wrist thickly wrapped. Kenyon Martin stared
coldly into his stall. Amar’e Stoudemire shoveled food into his mouth,
shaking his head periodically, and Chris Copeland couldn’t yet bring himself
to peel off his blue uniform.

休息室裡籠罩著低氣壓，老錢坐在板凳上兩眼無神的直視前方，他的右手腕還包了一大包

K罵則是冷冷地盯著自己的更衣櫃，阿罵在吃東西，偶爾搖一下頭，CC還沒脫掉她的藍色

“Lots of emotion right now,” Ray Felton said after playing one of his worst
games of the year, shooting a shocking 0-for-7 from the floor. “It’s going
to be a long summer, but we have to keep this in our hearts and minds as we
work out and train. It hurts right now.”

小胖子:"現在心中有很多情緒很複雜...，這是我本季最糟糕的比賽，我打得爛透了，

我們放暑假了，但我們得要把這次的悔恨記進腦海裡，我們得要更努力的訓練，更努力的

加強自己，現在這種懊悔真的很痛苦。"


“We were right there,” said Chandler, the most disappointing Knick in this
series, who either played through a great deal of pain or caused even more if
he didn’t. “We just couldn’t close the deal. Not tonight. Not in this
series.”

老錢:"我們曾經在那裏，我們只是沒辦法打包對手，今晚沒辦法，這個系列賽都沒辦法。"


Across the room, Carmelo Anthony’s eyes looked glazed and weary as he sat
slumped on a chair, his left shoulder wrapped in a huge pillow of ice, his
knees iced down, his feet restlessly tapping a pair of red and blue
flip-flops.

把鏡頭帶到休息室的另一邊，瓜雙眼疲憊的癱坐在椅子上，他的左肩包了很大包的冰塊，

“That block spearheaded their momentum,” Anthony said.

瓜很自責，他認為HIBBERT搧他的那個大鍋帶起了溜馬的氣勢。

Anthony still called it “a hell of a year.’’

“We took steps forward as an organization,’’ he said. “We’ll take that.
We’ll be back better and stronger, that’s for sure.’’
“We all know what the goal was,’’ Anthony said. “Everybody wanted to go
to the championship [round]. Unfortunately our run has to stop here. We
regroup and come back better next year.’’
“My career is far from over, so I’m not really too concerned about that,”
 Melo said. “Overall we had a helluva season, helluva year. I think we took
some steps forward. ... We had a chance to get to the conference finals ... we
’ll take that.”

瓜仍稱今年是地獄般的一年

瓜:"我們曾經展望今年，我們未來會重新再來的，我們明年會變得更好，會得更強的!"

"我們都知道我們的目標在哪，每個人都想打FINALS，但很不幸的，我們倒在這裡了，我們

得要重整旗鼓然後明年變得更強。"

瓜:"我的職業生涯還很長，所以我還不擔心打不到FINALS的問題，總體而說，我們今年有

個宏大的賽季，宏大的一年，我們曾經有機會打到東冠，我們未來會做到的。"

“[The floater] wasn’t falling,” Felton said. “My jump shot was going in
and out at the rim. It’s frustrating, especially when it’s a big game like
this.”
In the final two games of the series, the Knicks were called for a whopping
64 fouls, while the Pacers were whistled 34 times, but Felton declined to
comment on the officiating.

“No comment on that,” Felton said.

小胖子:"我的拋投沒有進，我的跳投總是彈出來，真很令人挫折，尤其是這麼關鍵的比賽

center Tyson Chandler was asked why the Knicks never seemed to get back to
their early-season form, when they were one of the NBA’s brightest stories.

“I don’t know, I can’t answer that,” Chandler said.
“They go to him a lot. We tried to limit his looks. He had the two games
here where he was able to get some good looks. He had putbacks. He did a good
job for his team,” Chandler said after the Pacers eliminated the Knicks.
“They did a better job of attacking. They sent more men. Each game it was
somebody different,” Chandler said. “It worked out for them and we never
made the adjustment to make them pay.”

老錢被問到為何尼克打不出季初的表現

老錢:"我不知道，我沒辦法回答這問題。"

老錢談HIBBERT:"溜馬透過他做了很多事，我們試著要阻止他，他有兩場比賽打出很好的

表現，他補籃，他為他的球隊貢獻良多。"

老錢談溜馬:"他們在進攻做得很棒，他們傳導，每一場比賽都讓溜馬的球員看起來更不一樣

他們這招非常有用，而我們始終做不出能對付他們的調整。"


JR

“I want to retire a Knick,” said Smith, who can opt out of his contract
this offseason, in the aftermath of the Knicks’ season-ending 106-99 Game 6
defeat. “I don’t want to go anywhere else.”
“They tried to rely on me, and I didn’t step up,” Smith said. “Regardless
of what that says about me or my game, that won’t happen again.”
In a silent postgame locker room last night, Smith walked over to Anthony's
locker and clasped hands with him.
“Unsatisfied,” he said of his emotions. “I hate losing more than I like
winning.”
“I haven’t even thought about all that,” he said. “I’ve still got to
talk to Leon [Rose, agent] and see where we’re at.”

JR:"我希望我可以在尼克退休，我不想離開這裡。"

JR季後賽命中率只有29%

JR:"隊友們試著依靠我，但是我沒辦法回應他們，無論你們怎麼談論我或是我的比賽，

K罵

K-MART WANTS TO BE BACK: Mike Woodson and others said Kenyon Martin changed
the Knicks season when they signed him in late February. Will he be around to
contribute next season?

Martin, who will be a free-agent this summer, certainly hopes so.

"I have no idea. Would I love to be here? Yeah," Martin said, adding, "It’s
not my call. I would love to contribute from this day forward, but we’ll
see."
Asked about the officiating, Kenyon Martin said, “I'll save my money, man.''

K罵夏天也會成為自由球員

K罵:"我還沒想過這件事，我喜不喜歡這裡?你在說廢話嗎，當然是囉，但這件事不是由我

決定的，我真的很喜歡這段在尼克出場的日子，但讓我們看看未來會怎樣吧。"

阿罵

"It's never easy to sit there and watch. But again, it's Coach's decision,"
Stoudemire said after playing 5:47 -- all in the first half -- and scoring
two points in Game 6 on Saturday night.
"It's been a battle of conquering injuries," said Stoudemire, who also missed
the first two months of the season following surgery on his left knee.
"That's been pretty much the season for me."
Coach Mike Woodson originally wanted to start Stoudemire alongside Tyson
Chandler and Carmelo Anthony on the Knicks' front line.
Stoudemire lamented the fact that he "never got the chance" to start
alongside Chandler and Anthony this season.
He said he plans to talk with Woodson and the coaching staff in the offseason
about his role.
"I think just the opportunity of allowing them to understand exactly what my
style of play is and what I bring to the table is something that I think I'm
going to have to sit down with Coach Woody and express to him," Stoudemire
said.

阿罵:"像這樣坐在板凳看球隊輸球真的很難過，這總是一件很痛苦的事，但是，這是教練的

阿罵:"我這一整季都在跟傷痛搏鬥，一整季阿..."

武僧這季原先想讓阿罵跟瓜，老錢搭配先發。

但因為阿罵的傷痛使他最後只能當替補

阿罵表示我們從來沒有機會可以三人一起搭配，我暑假時會好好地跟教練談談關於我的角色

我覺得我得要讓他知道我的打法，還有我能幫球隊做甚麼，我得要跟教練好好談談。"

Knicks coach Mike Woodson wouldn’t call a second-round flameout an
underachievement.
“This is the first time this team has ever been assembled,’’ said Woodson,
who again benched Amar’e Stoudemire and Jason Kidd in the second half. “We
did a lot of special things this season. To walk away from tonight and say
this was a disaster, absolutely not. We had high expectations when we set out
at training camp and our goal was to win an NBA title. We played like it
throughout the season.

“At the end of the day, we didn’t get it done. Me being the head coach, I
take full responsibility.’’

武僧不會把第二輪出局當成是個不好的成績

武僧:"這是我們第一年的搭配，我們這賽季做了些特別的事，在今晚之後說我們這賽季

簡直是個悲劇，這樣是不對的，我們曾經有很高的期望，我們訓練營的目標就是贏得總冠軍

我們為此打了一整個賽季，到了賽季結束的今天，我們沒有達成目標，我是總教練，所以，

我願意承擔這全部的責任。"


Prigioni said he was not ready to discuss his future after the game.

另外老普目前也不打算談論下一季的去向。


he left without speaking to the media. He played 6:23 in the first half,
didn't take a shot and was scoreless for the 10th straight game.
Before the game, Kidd said he had no problem watching from the bench for most
of Game 5. "No, the guys were playing great," he said. "So you got to go with
the guys who are playing good."

另外老基今晚賽後不發一語的直接離開休息室，不接受記者的採訪

在G6賽前老基曾說:"在板凳上看比賽對他來說，不是問題，大夥都打得很棒，所以你得要

讓那些打得不錯的傢伙上場。"
