武僧:目標聯盟防守前十隊!

Coach Mike Woodson wants to change that this year, saying Friday that he
believes the Knicks should finish in the top 10 in 2013-14.

"That's our goal. Without a doubt. I think if we do that we'll continue to
put ourselves in position to win games," Woodson said.

武僧:"毫無疑問，防守前十隊是我們的目標，我認為如果我們繼續把我們放到對的位子

"We had so many guys in and out from injuries, we never were able to get a
constant flow in practice," Woodson said.

上賽季尼克的防守悍將都有傷痛問題

Woodson hopes to have a set starting five and bench rotation this year, which
should help. Last year Woodson used 24 different starting lineups, which
contributed to some of the breakdowns on D.

Center Tyson Chandler, for one, thinks having a set starting five will help.
"I think it’s tough to adjust night in and night out, having different
bodies in," Chandler said. "Obviously, you can’t help injuries, but we can
prevent certain things ourselves as a team, that’s what we have to do."

老錢發誓今年不會再像去年一樣讓各位失望了

"My motivation this summer was the playoff exit," Chandler said after
practice Friday. "I vowed to myself I would never let that happen again. I
would never let my team down and be in that situation again. So that's what
I've been thriving off of. I will never allow that to happen. I got my [butt]
kicked. So next time I'm not going to let that happen."

老錢再加強跳投跟鉤射，記者問他為何有這動力

老錢:"我的動機就是因為去年季後賽被淘汰，我發誓我不會再讓這情況再發生，我不能再讓

"It's not about him, it's about me," Chandler said. "My job is to stop
whoever is in front of me and outplay them no matter who it is. Walking away
from that series, I couldn't look at this person, that person, what this
person didn't do or what that person did. It's about me -- to make sure that
person can't succeed against me and I have the success next time."

談到HIBBERT:"這不是他的問題，而是我的問題，我的工作就是阻止任何人，不管他是谁

"At the end of the season, I didn't look at my teammates," Chandler said. "I
looked at myself. I said, 'OK, where did you let your team down?' And I felt
like that was one of the areas I let my team down. So I went back to the
drawing board and worked on it."

it has to be ‘OK, I’m going to be aggressive every possession [on offense].
’
Chandler won’t say how many jumpers he hopes to hit per game.
“When the opportunity comes, I’m going to be aggressive,’’ he said.
he 7-foot-1 Chandler has spent the summer and the beginning of training camp
working on a mid-range jumper to complement his ability to score inside off
the pick-and-roll. He estimated he's been taking "more than" 600 shots every
day before, during and after practice.

said. “Me and Pablo were aggressive on the ball, especially Pablo. I feel we
didn’t lose a beat from that standpoint. Beno is a great point guard. He
knows how to defend. So we’re going to have the same defense at point guard.
