Jan. 11. They haven't been 3 games under .500 on March 17, 2012.
The #Knicks lost their fifth straight at home on Saturday. They last lost
five in a row at home in February 2010.

Mike Woodson may make another lineup change before Tuesday's game at Detroit.
The Knicks (3-6) have used four different starting lineups in the first six
games.

"I gotta go back and re-evaluate things," Woodson said. "I'm going to
continue to shuffle and do things that I think are right by our team to try
to find the right combinations to win."

“We didn’t play with any purpose tonight, and I’ve got to take

Afterward, Woodson and Anthony sounded off about the team’s lackluster
defensive effort.

“We’ve got to figure it out,” Anthony said. “It’s a nasty feeling right
now.”
“There’s no explanation,” Anthony said. “There’s no excuses. We’re just
not getting it done from an effort standpoint.”

瓜哈哈大笑:"這可不能解釋為何我們打得這麼差，沒有藉口，我們只是不夠努力。"


Said Anthony: "We can't worry about the boos. We have to play harder. That's
all it is. We aren't playing worth a darn right now. We have to play harder.
We start worrying about other stuff than playing basketball, then we really
are going to be digging ourselves out of a hole.
"They are going to boo, the fans are going to boo when you are not playing
well. We have to focus on playing better basketball."

JR的懺悔

“Excuse my language, but I was playing like [garbage],” Smith said after
his latest nightmare, a 3-of-18 horror that left his season shooting
percentage at 22.6 percent. “I played terrible. I’ve been playing terrible
since I got back and I wasn’t happy about it.”

JR:"原諒我說髒話，我打得跟屎沒兩樣，我打得太爛了，我打得非常糟糕，很不爽。"


“I’ve got to go back and re-evaluate some things,” Woodson said after he
was clearly disturbed by the Knicks’ lack of effort. “I’m not just blaming
it on J.R. Offensively, you’re going to miss shots. There are nights you
just can’t throw it in the ocean, but there’s no excuse why you don’t give
effort defensively.

“Honestly, I don’t even know,” Smith said of what’s wrong with his game.
“I’ve been getting my shots up before and after practice, been working out
like I’m supposed to and I can’t transition it into a game. It’s
frustrating.”

JR:"坦白說，我不知道為啥會這樣，我練習時還很準，但比賽時卻變成這樣，很難過。"


“That’s the million dollar question right there,” he said. “Hopefully
sooner than later. Our effort has to get better. Our defense has to get
better. When we’re missing shots, we lapse on the defensive end. It should
be the other way.”
As Woodson said: “My thing has always been, when you miss shots you’ve got
to make sure they don’t make shots.”

t happy with his restricted minutes. Kenyon Martin wants more playing time,
and Smith (seven points on 3-of-18 shooting) shows more emotion on Twitter
than he does on the basketball court.
