Cleamons officially hired as assistant coach

The Knicks made it official on Wednesday, announcing the hiring of veteran
assistant Jim Cleamons as an assistant coach.

The team also announced that Rasheed Hazzard, Brian Keefe and Joshua
Longstaff had been added to Derek Fisher's staff.

Cleamons was an assistant under Knicks president Phil Jackson with the
Chicago Bulls for seven seasons and with the Los Angeles Lakers for 10
seasons. He was an assistant on nine of Jackson's 11 NBA title-winning teams.
He and Kurt Rambis should help first-year coach Fisher implement Jackson's
triangle offense.

Jim Cleamons以前在芝加哥跟洛杉磯都跟隨著禪師，他們已經相處了17年拉。

他跟Kurt Rambis都是禪師十一枚冠軍球隊的教練團團員之一。

Hazzard spent five seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers (2006 to 2011),
including as a member of NBA championship teams in 2009 and 2010, working in
player development and as an advance scout, and also as an assistant coach
for the D-Fenders, the Lakers’ D-League affiliate.

Keefe had been a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder organization for the
past seven seasons, serving as an assistant coach for the past five years. He
joined the Thunder in 2007 as a player development coach after two seasons as
an assistant video coordinator with the San Antonio Spurs, including the NBA
championship team in 2007.

Brian Keefe之前在雷霆隊效力，他在那邊當了五年的助理教練，他也是致力於球員發展

Longstaff had spent the past four seasons working for the Thunder in a player
development role and as a video analyst. He developed a strong relationship

D-League holds draft: The Knicks' D-League team, the Westchester Knicks, held
its expansion draft on Tuesday. They selected ex-Knick Jerome Jordan and
ex-Big East Player of the Year Luke Harangody, who starred at Notre Dame.
Click here for a full list of the players selected. If any of these players
decides to sign a D-League contract this season, the Westchester Knicks hold
their rights. The team will also participate in the league-wide D-League
draft in October.

The Knicks also hold the D-League rights to Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who they
drafted in the second round of the 2014 draft. Antetokounmpo has reportedly
agreed to sign a D-League contract to play for Westchester.

The selected players comprise Westchester's 2014-15 Returning Player List. If
the players sign an NBA Development League contract for either of the next
two seasons, Westchester will have right of first refusal, giving the Knicks
rights to players for two seasons.

這些被W尼克選到的球員，一旦簽了約，在接下來的兩年，尼克都有優先簽約權!


The same goes for guys signed overseas, of course. I don't know what the
foreign contract statuses of guys like Craig Brackins, Luke Harangody, DaJuan
Summers, Kris Joseph, and Jerome Jordan(!) are, but they won't be W-Knicks
unless they return to the D-League.
