Iman Shumpert and Tim Hardaway Jr. sat out the scrimmage portion of Knicks’
practice on Monday, and their status for the first exhibition game Wednesday
against the Celtics in Hartford remains unclear.
“I think Shump’s had a hamstring that’s been bothering him a little bit
off and on,” coach Derek Fisher said. “If you don’t takecare of those the
right way they can linger all season. Tim has some hip inflammation that’s
kind of bothering him a little bit.”
談傷兵

小哈德威則是屁股有點小問題。"
Fisher said he might figure out a starting lineup for the game on Tuesday.
Jose Calderon figures to start at the point, with Carmelo Anthony and
probably Samuel Dalembert in the frontcourt. It remains to be seen who Fisher
will start at shooting guard and power forward.
“We’ll see how it goes in practice [Tuesday],” Fisher said. “We obviously
have some guys who have been limited in some space until now and we want to
make sure we’re keeping guys healthy as we move through October so that ‘ll
impact us a little bit.”
談明天的熱身賽

As for Shumpert, he said he injured his right hamstring at some point during
training camp at West Point, but was OK enough to do the non-contact stuff.
“I could play but they don’t want it nagging me all season,” Shumpert
said. “Coach and them are just taking the necessary precautions.”
He added: “They said if it’s bumps or bruises they’d let me play, but
since it’s a muscle they don’t want anything to linger on throughout the
season so they just said sit out and get through it. That’s what we’re
doing.”
Shumpert said he hoped to play Wednesday.
“I would hope so,” he said. “I don’t want to sit out all these practices
and not play. That’s why I’m sitting everything out to just make sure that I
’m able to play and I’m able to get some rest.”
香波自己談傷病
香波:"我可以上場拉，只是他們說不要這麼拚，我們還有一整季。"
"他們說如果我只是碰撞造成的傷勢，他們會讓我上場，但我的是肌肉問題，他們不希望這
影響到整個賽季的表現，所以要我好好地待在板凳。"
"我個人是希望後天那場可以上場拉...，我不想要因此而錯過季前練習阿。"
Amar’e Stoudemire also sat out the scrimmage as Fisher continues to manage
his surgically-repaired knees.
“Amar’e’s on a very speciifc plan so we’re just managing it the best way
we can for him first and foremost,” Fisher said. “But it’s also about our
team. If we can have Amar’e available every night this year, we’ll be a lot
bettter off. We’re just trying to be smart with him as well. There isn’t
any acute or traumatic reason why he’s limited on some days. On some days he
’s doing everything we’re asking him to do.”

老漁:"喔...阿罵是因為比較特別的計畫，這是我們所想到最好的管理方式，如果阿罵
今年每場都能上場，這對我們挺有幫助的，我們可不想要看他打打停停的，希望有天他能
順利上場做到我們要他做得每一件事。"
