BOSTON — We're at the NBA Finals, an event all big and sweaty and heaving
with significance.

We're talking to Lamar Odom. The subject: bunnies.

Cute, tiny, adorable bunnies. But not the fuzzy kind.

"Kobe's bunnies and my bunnies are different kinds of bunnies," Odom said,
seriously attempting to make a point. "My bunnies are right at the basket.
His are 17-foot fade-away jumpers with a guy in his face."

The problem for the Lakers here Thursday was that even the easy things
weren't easy, particularly for Bryant, whose rate of success didn't match the
degree of difficulty he said he faced.

Then again, opposing players seem to have a habit of misfiring when sharing
space with Boston. The Celtics led the NBA in the regular season by limiting

Even worse, take Bryant himself. In three games now against this rebuilt

quite some time now.
