因此FIFA將澳門足協停權，以示懲罰。

澳門足協遭停權 牽動東亞賽
特區政府嚴重干預運作 國際足總做出處分
〔記者王翔／台北報導〕澳門特區政府因干預澳門足球協會的運作，
遭到國際足總停權處分，澳門隊將無法來台參加三月在台北舉行的東
亞錦標賽預賽。
由於事發突然，在台北的東亞聯盟籌備處主任張展維，今天將赴東
京東亞聯盟總部研商賽程，台灣、北韓、香港、蒙古、關島五隊，可
能改為單循環賽，再取前四名踢交叉賽。
國際足總緊急事故委員會聲明，由於澳門特別行政區政府當局嚴重
干預澳門足協，國際足總自即日起，停止澳門足協參與所有國際足球
的活動。
包括在澳門舉行的外國球隊比賽，以及澳門隊在國外的比賽、地區
性比賽、指派澳門籍官員等，都一律禁止，直到國際足總觀察後，認
為澳門特區政府干預的外力撤出後，才有可能解禁。
被國際足總停權是最嚴重的處分，最近幾年黎巴嫩、瓜地馬拉都因
政府和外力介入被停權，澳門特區政府如果沒有改善，將影響到今年
十月的澳門東亞運。

FIFA suspends the Macau Football Association
Zurich, 15 February 2005 - The FIFA Emergency Committee has suspended
the Macau Football Association (MFA) with immediate effect on the
grounds of serious interference by the political authorities of the
Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of
China, constituting a clear violation of Article 17 of the FIFA
Statutes. This decision was communicated to MFA President Chui Vai Pui
Andy by FIFA General Secretary Dr Urs Linsi in a letter sent on 11
February 2005.
As a result of this suspension, all international football activities
of the MFA (matches in Macau of foreign teams and matches of Macau
teams organised abroad, participation in regional tournaments,
appointment of Macau officials, etc.) are currently suspended until
further notice from FIFA. Furthermore, all FIFA financial assistance
payments have been frozen and the MFA has been deprived of its right
to vote at Congresses held by international football bodies.
FIFA only wishes to uphold the structures and functions in compliance
with the principles of its own Statutes. Blatant governmental
interference in local football affairs in contravention of FIFA
principles cannot be accepted.
As FIFA's warnings and deadlines went unheeded, the FIFA Emergency
Committee had no other alternative but to take the decision to suspend
the MFA.
