Barcelona vice-president Sandro Rosell has confirmed goalkeeper Recber
Rustu is available.
Manchester City are interested in the Turkish international after losing
Geert de Vlieger for the season with an Achilles injury.
Rosell said: "Rustu can go away on-loan this season. We will only allow
him to leave on-loan. We want him back here available for us next season."
Barca's demands suit City boss Kevin Keegan, who wants an experienced
shot-stopper on a season-long loan to act as back-up for No1 David James.
But Rustu insists he wants to play regularly and is understood to have
already informed Keegan of his demands.
