Marqués: “Parma is an important opportunity”
Parma’s new signing José Fernando Marqués was presented earlier this
evening in Parma and had a few words to say about his new club.
“I am very happy to be here it’s an important opportunity for me and even
though words mean little I intend to repay the faith this club has shown in
me with my performances on the pitch.”
“Serie A has always been a league I admire greatly, of course not to detract
from the year I spent in Spain but when Parma offered me a contract I
accepted immediately.”
“My best position is as a wing forward with my best attribute being my
speed. Although I like to get on the scoresheet I’m not a selfish player and
will not hesitate to pass to someone who is in a better scoring position.”
“I know that Parma is a very ambitious team and I hope to be able to help
them to try and achieve success in the future.”
