PNG format is a bipmap image, which does not have a size notion (a.k.a. bou=
nding box). Thus the shrinking may be due to the process of conversion to P=
DF (my wild guess??)
Your need to specify [width=3D20mm,height=3D30mm] something like that.=20
Furthermore, there is a TeXwork compiler available for windows, included in=
MiKTeX. It, fairly good, has pdflatex, xelatex, latex/tex and many others =
compiling commands. A simple and slick user interface. Only a clip of green=
icon is all you need when compiling.=20
Since you have pdf figures, pdflatex will take care of it.=20
Oh, BTW, it takes png image file (also it needs width and height.)
