Road Trip Preview: Memphis/NOLA
客場二連戰前報：灰熊黃蜂
After easily winning their past two home games against the Sixers and the
Pacers, the team embarks on a quick two game road trip that will see them play
back-to-back games against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and against the
upstart New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday.
贏了兩場簡單的勝仗，很快的湖人要踏上客場Ｂ２Ｂ之旅，對手分別是灰熊和黃蜂。
The Grizzlies are one of the worst teams in the league with a lowly 10-23
record, but have won two of their last three games including a victory Sunday
night against Miami. Memphis is essentially the same team they were last year—
Pau Gasol, Rudy Gay, Mike Miller and not much else. However, the Lakers lost
their last meeting at FedEx Forum 128-118, with Miller and Gasol both torching
the Lakers. Prior to that meeting, the Grizzlies had lost four in a row to the
Lakers. This season, youngster Rudy Gay has emerged as a legitimate star for
the Grizzlies, leading them in scoring with 19 points to go along with six
rebounds.
灰熊是全聯盟戰績最差的其中一支球隊，但最近三場他們贏了兩場。其實他們陣容跟
上一季相去不遠。上一次對戰湖人以118-128輸給了灰熊。在那場敗戰之前，灰熊可是

After the Lakers face Memphis, they fly out immediately to The Big Easy to take
on the red-hot New Orleans Hornets, fresh off a victory over the Phoenix Suns.
After winning 8 of their last 10 games, the Hornets are nipping at the heels of
the Spurs and the Suns for the best record in the Western Conference. Along
with the Blazers, the Lakers and Hornets have been the hottest teams in the
West for almost a month. With 11 losses, the Lakers are in a three-way tie in
the loss column for the third best record in the conference so Wednesday’s
match up against the 23-11 Hornets is an especially important one for both
teams.

The Lakers will also be looking to exact revenge on a Hornets squad that beat
them handily at home in November 118-104. In that game, Hornets guard Chris
Paul burned the Lakers with 19 points and 21 assists to go along with Peja
Stojakovic’s torrid shooting. Even more worrisome for the Lakers is that New
Orleans will have had four days off before the two teams meet, so their usual
run-and-gun style should be in high gear.
湖人也想在這場比賽中替上次的敗戰討回面子。Chris Paul在這場比賽把湖人烤熟了，
Peja Stojakovic也像是瘋子一樣的掃射。湖人更該擔心的是休息四天的黃蜂會打出
更快速的跑轟。
In looking ahead to the mini road trip, the Lakers need to be careful not to
look too far ahead to their battle with the Hornets. They also need to be weary
of overconfidence after two easy games against sub par teams at home. As has
been the case for a few seasons now, the Lakers have struggled in back-to-back
games, going 1-1 in their last set on the road against the Cavaliers and
Sixers.
檢視這小型的客場之旅，湖人一定要小心不能跟著黃蜂的節奏跑。他們不能一直沉溺在
那兩場的主場勝利。本季而言，湖人不太會打Ｂ２Ｂ的比賽，在上一次的Ｂ２Ｂ裡面
