SAN ANTONIO - The question was not probing, just a search for answers from
Luke Walton.

His right ankle has been bothering him, and his game has suffered. Walton was
asked what's going on.

asked, smiling.

Walton's sixth on the Lakers in scoring, averaging 7.5 points, but fourth in
turnovers, with 1.6 per game. He had five points and two turnovers in 35
minutes Wednesday night.

He can't seem to get any explosion when he jumps because of the ankle.

"It comes and goes but it's getting better," Walton said of the pain. "There
are more days without some pain than before."

Coach Phil Jackson said he's keeping an eye on Walton, who's fifth on the
team in minutes, averaging almost 26.

"Too many minutes is going to hurt him, wear him out and tear him down a
little bit physically," Jackson said. "So guys have to share those minutes.

害，所以其他人必須分擔他一些上場的時間才行。"

"He's struggling. Offensively he's struggling. I think he's doing a good job
defensively for us. He's capable of running the offense and keeping things
going out there on the first unit, so that's helpful. But he needs to have a
good game."

To help pace Walton, Jackson said he'll occasionally slide Lamar Odom and
Kobe Bryant to small forward.

"We're going to have to adjust," Jackson said.

Jackson was tied for No. 1 with Phoenix's Mike D'Antoni. When told of this,
Jackson smiled and sighed.

Jackson said the Suns' up-tempo system is one that players love.

"I don't know why anybody would want to play for me because I'm too rigid and
perhaps too confining in a lot of the ways we do things," Jackson said. "But
it's nice to know that."

身材明顯不夠的6-9前鋒Ronny Turiaf必須在Bynum還有Mihm都受傷的狀況下擔任替補中鋒
的角色。

Trying to hold his own against Tim Duncan on Wednesday, Turiaf had a good
game, scoring 14 points off the bench and making 5 of 8 shots. He also
blocked four shots, including two by Duncan.
在今天對抗馬刺的比賽中他嘗試將自己發揮到最好來對抗Duncan，而且有好的表現。他從
板凳出發獲得14分，全場8投5中。而且蓋了4個火鍋，其中兩個來自於Duncan的貢獻。

But Duncan still had 28 points and 17 rebounds.
但Duncan還是拿下28分外加17籃板。

"What can you say about him?" Turiaf said. "All you have to do is to try and
do your best and hope he miss the shot.
Turiaf說，"你能說什麼呢？我能作的就是嘗試去封阻他，讓自己表現到最好，然後期望
他投不進。"

"I tried. I blocked his shot a couple of times. But he gets so many touches
that he's going to put baskets in my mouth, and that's what he did."

籃框，這就是他所做的。"
