No wonder the rest of the NBA seems so ticked at Memphis general manager
Chris Wallace these days.

也難怪最近其他隊都譙灰熊經理譙成這樣..

When the best player in the league starts to really believe he can win a
championship, it may not matter how much the West has loaded up.

當那個人開始相信可以拿冠軍的時候，其他隊在換什麼鬼也不是太重要了。

Yes, Dallas got Jason Kidd last week, and Phoenix got Shaquille O'Neal, and
San Antonio got Kurt Thomas, and New Orleans got Bonzi Wells and Mike James.
But none may have the impact of Pau Gasol's going from the Grizzlies to the
Lakers. Not just because Gasol has stepped in for the injured Andrew Bynum,
with seeming ease. But also because of the impact it has had on Kobe Bryant.

沒錯，接生小孩嬌喘一聲投回母隊的懷抱，鯊魚讓太陽看起來更大了，馬刺找來湯瑪斯

組成新雙塔，黃蜂靠補強了不足的二號位。但這些交易都沒我們外掛開的大，不只

是因為砲嘎獸補上了霸男的缺，更是因為他給那個人帶來的影響。

Was it just eight months ago that Bryant seemed to be in the midst of a
nervous breakdown, demanding general manager Mitch Kupchak's head on a pike
and a one-way ticket out of town for Bynum? Now, with Gasol playing an able
Robin, Bryant is Batman, averaging 28.1 points per game and emerging as the
favorite to win his first league most valuable player award.


現在聯盟新的蝙蝠俠+羅賓的組合，伴隨著最有機會拿下生涯首度MVP的亮眼表現，

That is the backdrop to the rest of the regular season and the playoffs. If
the West is the conference to beat, the Lakers look as if they are the team
to beat.

而接下來要發生的事情，似乎就是等湖人拿下西區了!

"They did the best [of all the teams that made moves], because they're going
to be good for the next four, five years," an admiring executive from another
team said last week. "San Antonio has to win this year or next year. Same
with Dallas. The Lakers have a four- or five-year window."

Did anyone else notice the 30-year-old Bryant on Wednesday against Phoenix
when he - like Shaquille O'Neal, circa 2000, and Michael Jordan, circa 1993,
or Larry Bird, circa 1986 - was at the height of his powers and the dominant
force in the game?

Yes, it was a regular-season game. But some regular-season games mean a
little more.

對上大太陽時，有人注意到30歲的那個人，彷彿是2000年的鯊魚，93年的喬伯，
或是86年的鳥神，那樣的統治著全場嗎?

沒錯，即使只是一場例行賽..但這有時透漏的訊息更多。╮(╯▽╰)╭

The Suns were geeked, having had a couple of days off and playing a national
game at home. It was O'Neal's debut with Phoenix, and the franchise made a
big deal of it, dubbing U.S. Airways Arena "Planet Orange." The Lakers were
on the shank end of a back-to-back, having lost an hour flying from home
after beating Atlanta on Tuesday.

太陽在鯊魚來的這幾天休息了一陣子且搞了些花樣來歡迎這位中鋒。湖人則在

解決老鷹之後來訪。

None of it mattered because Bryant wouldn't allow it. Funny, the finger
injury that limited him to a handful of minutes in the All-Star Game in New
Orleans didn't seem to be a problem.

當那個人不允許的時候，那你想都別想。不過很有趣，手傷在明星賽的前幾分鐘，看起

來並不是個問題。(在我看來，沒出現問題過..)


His performance was memorable not because of his 41 points - Bryant can score
40 in a coma, having done so 90 times already in his career - but for the
will he imposed on the game. He attacked O'Neal and the Suns where they live
- down the middle of the lane, again and again, dunking and hanging and
breaking Phoenix apart.

讓人記憶深刻的表現，當然不只是因為41分，這樣的表現已經有90次了。而是

他總在太陽活過來的時候，再度擊垮他們。...禁區雙塔?那是什麼?好吃嗎?

The Lakers are 7-1 since Gasol started playing (and were 9-1 through Friday
in the month of February). They finished 7-2 on their season-defining road
trip back east. And Bryant has looked more engaged, and more confident in his
teammates' abilities, than he's looked since he and O'Neal won three straight
titles earlier this decade.

7-1，這是泡嘎獸開工以後的成績。7-2，則是噁心的九連戰的成績。嘿嘿，

而且那個人看起來更樂了，也更有信心，上次這麼開心可能是清朝的時候了。

With Gasol around, Lakers coach Phil Jackson said earlier this month, Bryant
doesn't have to take on the burden of being the top scorer every night.
Indeed, Bryant's average has dropped a little in February.

禪師也提到過，那個人不用再搶分了。而得分確實也稍稍的往下滑了一點。

"He's a guy that gravitates toward that position," Jackson said. "It doesn't
bother him at all. He wants to go out there and carry all the spears. We're
happy there's someone he can share it with. I think it really enthused his
game. It really made him much more joyful [after the trade]. . . . He was
much more happy about the situation. It reflected in his play. It energized
him."

來說很好，看他多燙就知道了~"

The Lakers still have to go through a brutal West. The Spurs' acquisition of
Thomas means Tim Duncan won't have to chase Gasol all over the floor. Kidd
will make the game much easier for Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard. If O'Neal's
first game with Phoenix is any indication, the Suns won't have any drop-off
in scoring. And it will be much easier for the Lakers if Bynum can come back
strong from his knee injury before the postseason.

But they have the best player. And the best player is engaged. That is
trouble for the rest of the best of the West.

不過湖人還有段路要走，石佛不用自己對上嘎獸，小孩會讓德老打的更容易，

而俠客的表現，似乎也說明了飆分依然對太陽不是個問題，等霸男回來，湖人的

陣容還會更牛逼，嗯...等他遊泳游爽了再說。

不過有全聯盟最可怕的那個人，而他又再度充滿了信心。嘖嘖嘖，其他隊伍等著看吧..
