Section I, Article H states that a player will not『vibrate the rim, net or
backboard so as to cause the ball to make an unnatural bounce,or bend or
move the rim to an off-center position when the ball is touching the ring or
passing through. 』 By not calling goaltending,referees determined that
Gasol's action didn't vibrate the goal to such a degree that it caused『an
unnatural bounce.』…Bernie Fryer, NBA director of officials, told the Los
Angeles Times that no call was the correct call, because Gasol didn't alter
the flight of the ball.」
好像是說根據nba規則第11條關於goaltending的條件，H跟I項 : 一名球員不能『使籃
框、籃網跟籃板產生震動，導致球因此產生不自然反彈、方向改變或者是移動，而讓球
無法進入籃框得分。 』而Gasol那球並沒有讓籃框產生巨大的震動去改變到球的軌跡，
所以不構成goaltending條件。
