Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum said he knew exactly what he was doing
when he publicly criticized game officials after the Lakers' 101-96 loss
Wednesday to the Dallas Mavericks.
霸男表示，他公開嗆聲不是一時衝動，他早就考慮過才決定要講的。

The comments elicited a $25,000 fine Friday from the NBA. After the Dallas
game Bynum said, "It's hard to win when it's five against eight."
他那如同鄉民的言論讓他被罰了台幣約八十萬元，他說：「五個打八個怎麼可能贏啊？」

"I decided to say that before the interview because it was ridiculous," Bynum
said. "I knew it was going to happen; whether it was fair is debatable. They
tell us we can't say anything so I knew I was going to get fined."
「我考慮過然後決定還是不吐不快，因為那天狀況真的有夠扯！」霸男說。
「我知道是有可能被罰錢。至於公不公平見仁見智了。
他們有叫我們乖乖閉嘴，所以我早知道我講這些會被罰。」

Bynum, who never before had been fined, said his frustrations with the
officials have been ongoing all season and decided that it would be worth the
fine to bring it out into the open.
霸男當了好久的乖小孩，從來沒被老師處罰過。
但是他說他其實老早就不爽裁判了，悶了一整季。
那天把話講出來，剛好而已，就算被罰也值得！

"I hope not," Bynum said when asked if he thought officials might be harder
on him now because of his public criticism of them. "If they did, it would
just prove a point."
我們問霸男怕不怕以後裁判會更針對他，霸男說：
「我只能希望不會吧。如果他們真的針對我，那就也證明他們真的....」

Bynum was called twice for traveling against Dallas and the Mavericks shot 26
free throws to the Lakers' 16.
霸男在嗆聲當天的比賽中被吹了兩次走步，而當晚牛拿到26個罰球，湖人16個。

"I have sympathy for his statement, I believe he was trying to speak the
truth, but you can't go over that line," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "We
know that referees are sacred cows in this league and the NBA is going to
punish us, so he learned a lesson that will be valuable to him."
「我懂霸男的感覺...我相信他只是想講出事實而已，但是身為球員你就是不能跨越
那個界線。」禪師這麼說。
「我們老手們早知道裁判都是神聖不可侵犯的，最後一定是自己被勦啊！
這樣霸男也算是學到一課啦。」

It is usually Jackson who intentionally criticizes officials publicly to get
them to think more about their calls although he says he believes Bynum was
premature in his comments.
通常都是禪師跳出來公開大罵裁判，要他們好好自我反省。
但這次換成霸男，禪師仍認為霸男年輕氣盛太衝動。

"I wait for an appropriate time when it matters," Jackson said. "When it
makes a difference in the playoffs and you might be able to twist somebody's
arm into reacting or recognizing something."
「我都會等到適當時間再罵人，當這麼做真的能影響季後賽中什麼決定的時候，之類。
那時候你就真的有機會脅迫要求別人上道點。」
