President Obama calls Phil Jackson

President Barack Obama picked the Lakers to repeat as NBA champions, and upon
being proven right he called Lakers coach Phil Jackson with congratulations
Friday.

Here is what the White House released about the conversation, with an
allusion to a repeat in 2011 of the team’s visit to see the President
earlier this year:

“Earlier today, President Obama called Phil Jackson, head coach of the Los
Angeles Lakers, to congratulate him and his team on winning the NBA Finals
for the second year in a row and on Jackson’s 11th championship as a head
coach.  The President said that it was a great series, worthy of the rivalry
and noted that in last night’s game, Derek Fisher had yet another huge
postseason shot.  The President said he looked forward to congratulating the
team in person at the White House.”

歐巴馬預測湖人會二連霸 而湖人也沒讓他失望
所以他打電話恭喜禪師跟湖人贏了這一個辛苦的系列戰
順便誇了老魚又投進一個價值連城的三分

歐巴馬將會邀請湖人到白宮去 順便當面恭喜他們

The breakfast of NBA champions

The box of Wheaties sat on the podium table with little fanfare. Lakers
players come in, talked about the game and then left, paying little attention
to the cereal.

Then Ron Artest walked in.
“Hey, I got on Wheaties!” he said excitedly. And indeed he had.

The 2010 NBA champion Lakers are the latest championship team to earn a
picture on the well-known orange cereal box — their third appearance —
 after defeating the Boston Celtics for a second consecutive title and 16th
overall. The commemorative Wheaties box will be available in the cereal aisle
beginning in late July.

冠軍隊湖人又被放上了Wheatie的包裝盒
最高興的莫過於阿泰了(因為去年沒上嘛)
具有紀念價值的Wheatie包裝盒七月份就可以在各大量販店的麥片通道旁看到了喔(誤)
