[外電] Lamar Odom helps USA defeat Brazil in world championship

If you are a Lakers fan and you happened to catch USA defeat Brazil, 70-68,
Monday in Istanbul in the FIBA (International Basketball Federation) World
Championship, you had to see Lamar Odom do what he does best.

如果你是位Lakers迷，並剛好在注意禮拜一在伊斯坦堡舉行，FIBA世界錦標賽中，美國
以70-68擊敗巴西的比賽，必得瞧瞧Lamar Odom的代表作。

Odom was so bad one moment and then so good the next moment.

Odom曾一度表現不理想，但卻及時恢復。

It is something Lakers fans have come to expect from Odom.

這就是Lakers迷期望Odom做出的表現。

He finished with eight points on four-for-10 shooting, nine rebounds, one
assist, one steal and three turnovers in helping USA to a 3-0 record in Group
B competition.

他以4成命中率、8分、9籃板、1助攻、一抄截及三失誤的成績幫助美國隊在B組賽中取
得三連勝。

But it was his play late in the game that was typical Odom.

但在比賽後半段，Odom才有水準演出。

Odom did a 360-degree spin to get by his defender, Tiago Splitter, who will
play for the San Antonio Spurs next season. But Odom missed the layup,
something he has done frequently with the Lakers. USA still led, 68-64.

Odom以一記大轉身甩開防守者，也就是下一季將加盟San Antonio Spurs的Tiago

But a few moments later, Odom was back at his best.

He played tough defense and then grabbed the defensive rebound with 1:30 left.

It was, well, typical of Odom.

這才是Odom的風格。

Odom and USA, which escaped Brazil only after Leandro Barbosa, who was traded
from the Phoenix Suns to the Toronto Raptors this summer, missed a
last-second shot that could have tied the game and forced overtime.

美國隊及Odom拜Leandro Barbosa(在今年夏天從Phoenix Suns被交易至 Toronto
Raptors)錯失能追平並逼入加時賽的兩分球之賜獲勝。

Odom and USA will have Tuesday off before resuming play Wednesday, when they
meet Iran.

在經過禮拜二的休兵日後，禮拜三將遇上伊朗。
