Walton update
Backup forward Luke Walton sat out for the sixth - and what he hoped was the
final - time during the exhibition season. His strained right hamstring has
improved to the point that he can practice with his teammates.
If all goes well and he avoids a setback in today's workout, then he'll play
for the first time in Thursday's exhibition against the Golden State Warriors
in San Diego. If that goes well, he'll play again Friday against the Warriors
in Ontario.
Walton played only 29 games last season because of a back injury.
"My back felt great, but then the hamstring went out on me," he said.
"I don't know if doing two months worth of back exercises put too much
pressure on my back or what, but - the positive part of it is my back has
felt great all training camp."
Walton今天的訓練狀況很好，這是他傷後第一次下場訓練。
如果一切順利，他將在星期五對抗勇士的那場比賽歸隊。
"我的背感覺很好，但是我的後腿腱卻來亂。"
