[外電] Blake shares Blazers secrets

In preparing for Sunday's game with Portland, the Lakers tapped a little bit
of inside knowledge: that of guard Steve Blake, who spent most of the
previous three seasons with the Trail Blazers before finishing last season
with the Clippers.

"He already volunteered what he felt was important," Phil Jackson said.
"That's definitely something that we solicit from ballplayers on other teams:

Somewhat reluctantly, Blake admitted he had done his part "to help the team
out as best as I could. Shootarounds, everybody talks about the team you're
playing against. I just had a little bit more to say."

"在投籃練習時大家都在討論對手 我只是多說了一些嘛"

Even in an era of extensive advance scouting and video review, Blake sees
value in that kind of knowledge: "Coach (Nate) McMillan has his strategies of
defense and offense, so I kind of know all those little things."

Inside knowledge, of course, has its limits, as Blake admitted when it was
suggested he knew Brandon Roy's moves as well as Roy does.

內線消息還是有限制性的 就像小黑承認他很懂羅伊戰士的攻擊模式

"Even if you know his moves," Blake said, "still, you can't stop them."

Pau Gasol leading the team in minutes -- his average of 38.5 minutes through
six games is 16th in the league -- led Jackson to express some concern about
the workload for both his center and for Lamar Odom, second on the Lakers at
35.7 minutes. After Friday's game, the coach indicated he had not been able
to find "an adequate rotation to give them the kind of rest they need."

Gasol shrugged off the issue.

"I'm playing a lot of minutes, and that's the reality," Gasol said. "I don't
know if I wish I played a little less, but it is what it is. ... I'm playing
well, so I've just got to make sure I take care of my body the days we don't
play, and continue to work hard and continue to play well."

Rookie Derrick Character will be asked to play a bit more, "especially in
back-to-back games," Jackson said. And Ron Artest could see some action at
power forward.

禪師說小胖會被要求多打一點時間 特別是背靠背的比賽 連阿泰也可能打大前鋒

"We'll mess around with that," Jackson said, "and hope that Luke (Walton) can
also play some four (power forward) at times."
