With all due respect to Terry and Crawford, the man who David Stern should
present the Sixth Man award to is Lamar Odom. The do everything Point Forward
of the Lakers has done it all this season and is perhaps in the midst of the
best season of his 11-year career.
除了眾所矚目的最佳第六人候選人Terry與Crawford,
史騰最該把最佳第六人獎項應該頒發給Lamar Odom,
這個球季在球隊中扮演全能的大前鋒,
也可能是老二生涯11個年頭裡表現最好的一個球季.
Odom has been nothing short of great this season, whether it be as a starter
or as the leader of The Renegades. The Candyman has averaged 14.3 points, 8.7
rebounds and 3 assists per contest for the World Champs. Odom has also been
efficient, shooting a career best 54 percent from the field.
在這個球季,老二不論擔任先發或是替補的腳色,都表現的非常出色.
為了贏得總冠軍,繳出平均每場14.3分8.7籃板3助攻的成績單.

Yes, Odom's stats are great, but perhaps his true value outweighs those
stats. Odom has been a true professional, as he has been willing to take a
backseat to the star of Pau Gasol and the potential of Andrew Bynum for the
past few seasons, something many players wouldn't do. But when Odom has been
called upon to step up, he has been ready.
的確,老二的表現十分的優異.在場上真正的價值遠比那些數據更為重要,
老二已經是一個成熟的球員,在過去幾個球季中願意擔任耶穌跟霸男的替補,
然而這樣的工作是多數球員不願意去做.
但老二不斷的強調,他已經準備好了.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson recently spoke of the value of Odom to the Lakers.

"He’s been very productive, it’s invaluable. We made a decision as an
organization two years ago to sign Lamar, which put us into a difficult cap
situation, yet we were convinced that without him we wouldn't win a
championship again. That was a good decision by the organization,” The Zen
Master said.

Odom has played like this in the past, but what sets this season apart is his
consistency. In a season of many ups and downs for the champs, Odom has been
one of the constants, at times even being the most consistent Laker.
老二如同過去一樣的表現,但是在這個球季他的穩定性卻更為突出,
在起起伏伏的三連霸之路中,老二是隊上穩定球隊的球員之一,
在某些時候更是最為穩定的湖人.
Odom's effort in the Lakers' thrilling triple-overtime victory over the Suns
is the perfect example of his great season. Odom had a monster performance
scorching the Suns with 29 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists in an
astonishing 55 minutes on the floor. All while stepping in while Andrew
Bynum served his suspension.
上週對太陽的的三次OT險勝,這場比賽老二的表現成這個球季的最佳樣本.
場上55分鐘內,他野獸般的得了29分16籃板以及5助攻,完全彌補霸男禁賽的損失.
After the game, Kobe Bryant stated that Odom has his vote for Sixth Man and
come time to vote, Bryant shouldn't be alone. After being one of the major
all star snubs this season, winning the league's Sixth Man of the Year award
would give Odom the individual accolade he deserves.
這場比賽之後,Kobe把心中的最佳第六人投給了老二,
到了投票那天kobe的選擇應該不會寂寞.
一整個球季中Lamar並未受到明星球員應有的矚目,

Even after taking your forum blue and gold glasses off, the clear view is
that Odom is the league's best sub. Yes, Terry and Crawford have been very
good, but Odom has equaled their production and then some. Many expect to see
purple and gold confetti for a third straight season and Odom is one of the
major reasons why. The championship could be won in June, but for now it
appears that Odom will finally get some hardware for his individual efforts.
甚至在經過以上討論後,排除Terry跟Crawford,
很明顯地老二是聯盟中最佳替補.
當然,他們兩個很棒,
但是Odom有相同的數據甚至更多.
這也是為什麼很多人期待湖人隊贏下第三個總冠軍,
