[閒聊] 老朋友Jamison的一些話

暑假的補強到了尾聲

等開季也等得有點不耐煩

加上專業的版大都不發專業分析文

只好找些老同學的發言來翻翻

Along with superstar center Dwight Howard, Antawn Jamison will not be
returning to the Los Angeles Lakers next season. Jamison signed a one-year
deal with the Lakers in an effort to win an NBA title before calling it a
career. Jamison’s title aspirations did not not go according to plan.

當大家都關注著草莓劇場的同時

似乎大家忘了另一位老將A.Jamison下季也不會回來了

Jamison原本想在結束球員生涯前撈一枚冠軍戒

然而結果卻事與願違

With Jamison currently gauging interest in his services around the league,
the veteran forward reflected on an extremely disappointing season with the
Lakers and all the nonsense that transpired in Los Angeles via DeAntae Prince
of Sporting News:

“It was fun,” Jamison said. “There was just a lot of unnecessary nonsense
that really prevented us from accomplishing what we could have accomplished.
Of course you can’t do anything with injuries and the coaches being fired…”

湖人上球季發生的種種挫敗和荒唐事

也反映在這個暑假當Jamison在尋找他的下一份合約的態度

他透過了體育記者表示

"上季確實很有趣，像是教練被炒和球員受傷之類的狗屁事都是我們冠軍之路上的阻礙"

With everything that went wrong with this team built to win a championship
last season, Jamison’s gamble to take the veteran’s minimum rather than
signing a much more lucrative deal with a team like the Charlotte Bobcats didn
’t pay off. The Lakers were considered a top tier team in the Western
Conference with the addition of Steve Nash and Dwight, but couldn’t stay
healthy or create any team chemistry until late in the season.

原本Jamison也看好湖人在簽下草莓和Nash之後

會成為西區頂尖的球隊並且有機會奪冠的球隊

因此拒絕了其他球隊更好的薪資與湖人簽下了老將底薪

然而傷病和糟透的球隊氣氛卻成為奪冠的絆腳石

Jamison was clearly disappointed with his role and all the off-the-court
drama that took place in Los Angeles. The former Sixth Man of the Year says he
’ll be making more of an effort to weigh his options in free agency this
time around rather than jumping at another ideal opportunity on paper like he
did last year, via Prince:

“Didn’t really view my options, but this year I really want to make sure I’
m going to the right situation, where I have a good rapport with the coaching
staff and also with management I’m able to communicate and get an
understanding of what they want from me.”

這位曾經獲得過最佳第六人的老將對於球場之外的鳥事和他在球隊的定位都感到失望

並且表示這次簽下新合約前他會更審慎的評估到底要加入哪隊

同時也表示

"這次我對於新球隊的選擇會有更全面的考量

除了希望能夠和教練還有管理階層溝通順暢之外

球隊也能清楚的知道我能帶來什麼貢獻"

Obviously, Jamison wasn’t given a clear indication from the Lakers’
 coaching staff as to what the team wanted or expected of him off the bench.
Although Jamison clearly wasn’t happy with his role, the North Carolina
product was arguably the best bench player for the Lakers last season. A case
could be made for Earl Clark, but Jamison proved to be the most consistent.

Jamison會說出上面那段話也不是完全沒有原因

上個球季他並不清楚教練想要他做什麼

教練也不清楚他的定位和貢獻

然而他還是努力的成為上季湖人板凳上最大的亮點

As of right now, Jamison has received interest from the Bobcats, Chicago
Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. Charlotte may emerge as
the frontrunner if Jamison is still intent on heading home.

目前山貓、公牛、快艇、灰熊都對這位沙場老將有興趣

如果Jamison有意回家鄉養老

山貓將是他的首選

推 Kreen:沒設定定位打不好，跟明確角色打不好差很多的。又不是大學系
