SYMPOSIUM
- a formal meeting at which several specialists deliver short addresses on a
topic or on related topics
CONFERENCE
- a meeting of two or more persons for discussing matters of common concern
FORUM
- a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussion
SEMINAR
- a group of advanced students studying under a professor with each doing
original research and all exchanging results through reports and discussions
MEETING
- to come together with someone at a particular time or place
I'm sure you can differentiate which is which.
