這是所謂「虛受詞」的句型，
因為擔任受詞的不定詞子句過長，所以移往句末，
在原本受詞的位置上使用虛受詞it，以維持原本受詞和受詞補語語意的完整性，
道理跟虛主詞相同.....
虛主詞：
[For you to try to help your friends] is important.
=> [It] is importnat [for you to try to help your friends].
虛受詞：
I consider [for you to try to help your friends] important.
=> I consider [it] important [for you to try to help your friends].
如果不清楚的話，可以參照高中職英文課本，都有虛受詞的句型，
亦或是翻閱稍具規模的文法書都有更仔細的說明....
