[問題] 關於英文nor的用法

我覺得這句子感覺怪怪的

I don't want banana nor strawberry.

因為不是負負得正嗎? 那不就成了 我香蕉和草莓都想要的意思?

還有可以替換成or嗎? 像是以下這句也是

Sam doesn't need to go to school on Mondays nor on Wednesdays.

nor可以替換成or嗎? 如果不行 原因為何?

或是有更好的nor 連接 兩個對等片語或詞的句子範例呢?

因為自己一下子搞糊塗了@@
