標題[問題] 德文中有 fair 一字嗎?

在研究所用的教科書中，讀到了這樣一個例句：
Some English words have no exact equivalents in other languages;
for example, there is no German word
for the adjective "fair," as in "fair play."
請問德文高手們，德文裡頭確實沒有能確切翻譯 fair (公平、公正) 的單字嗎？
如果真是這樣的話，背後是否有什麼典故呢？
網路上查不太到相關資訊...

推 deatherpot:德文中的公平公正就是fair阿XDDD因為fair這個字原本的 10/03 00:28
→ deatherpot:意思為美好的、心地好的，之後才轉為公平公正。，尤其 10/03 00:31
→ deatherpot:用在遊戲比賽上，德文通常都會用到fair，但是法律上 10/03 00:31
→ deatherpot:則會習慣用gerecht 10/03 00:32
