1. 翻譯成"不到60年前"就很順阿
"不到"60年前，歐巴馬的老爸可能會被餐廳拒絕接待
說明短短的時間內卻有大大的改變
所以當然要用less than
2.
因為"對於現在事實的推測"應使用 may/might be
He may/might be wrong this time.
而"對於過去事實的推測"則應使用 may/might have been
He may/might have been wrong when he said...
所以有情狀動詞should, would, could, may, might等等的時候
"過去的時態"是用完成式來表達
而不是把may變成might
may/might的差異僅在於may的可能性大於might
