Injured Nalbandian to miss Buenos Aires Cup

BUENOS AIRES, Feb 13 (Reuters) - World number eight David Nalbandian will miss next week's Buenos Aires Cup ATP tournament in his native Argentina because of an ankle injury, organisers have said.
Nalbandian, Wimbledon finalist in 2002, aggravated an ankle problem playing Hicham Arazi last Friday during Argentina's Davis Cup first round win over Morocco in Agadir.
"I had some trouble before the Davis (Cup) and I felt a few twinges during the match," Nalbandian told reporters.
"It's a shame not to be able to play in the tournament of my country, where I always want to play in front of my own people, but unfortunately you can't control your injuries."
Spanish world number seven Carlos Moya is expected to defend his title in the tournament which also includes 2001 champion Gustavo Kuerten of Brazil and Argentina's world number four Guillermo Coria, losing finalist last year.
