2011年國際青年生命禪學營

一、活動宗旨：
以「做好事、說好話、存好心」三好運動為理念，提供全球
優秀青年交流平台，推動各項文化、教育、環保等議題，養
成現代青年服務、互助、利他的人生觀，推動社會和諧、世
界和平。

二、主辦單位：佛光山寺
三、協辦單位：佛光大學、南華大學、西來大學
四、承辦單位：佛光山法堂國際組
五、活動日期： 8月5日~8月11日(農曆7/6~12)
　　　　　　　(台灣文化環島之旅：8月9日起至11日)
六、活動地點：台灣佛光山寺
七、活動內容：1. 專題講座：情緒管理、身心環保、生死學等。
2. 生活體驗：人間生活禪、自我探索等。
3. 心靈修持：禪坐、念佛、抄經等。
4. 台灣佛教聖地參訪。
八、參加對象：18~35歲全球青年。
九、招收名額：海內外1000名優秀青年。
十、參加費用：全免。（教育及在台食宿交通、旅遊由主辦單位提供）
十一、報名日期：即日起至2011年6月25日。
十二、報名辦法：
　　1. 請至http://www.fgs.org.tw/events/lifeedu下載報名表
　　2. 填寫個人報名表後，經校方、教授或佛光山各單位推薦後，
　　　　e-mail或傳真至承辦單位，並來電確認。
　　3. 錄取名單，於7月5日公佈於活動網址。

2011 International Youth Seminar on Life and Ch’an

1. Objectives:
(1)Promote purification of the mind based on the concept of Humanistic
Buddhism.
(2)Provide a communication platform for outstanding and talented youths
worldwide.
(3)Through the topics of culture, education and environmental protection,
encourage youths to develop a mind of service, mutual-assistance, and to
benefit others.
(4)Promote social harmony, world peace, and new social values in the new
century.

3. Co-Organizer: Fo Guang University, Nanhua University, University of the
West

4. Administrative Organizer: Fo Guang Shan Department of International Affairs

5. Date: August 5 to 11, 2011 (Taiwan Tour: August 9 to 11)

6. Venue: Fo Guang Shan Monastery

7. Activities:
(1) Topic Lectures: EQ Management, Environmental and Spiritual Preservation,
Counseling
(2) Life Experiences: Humanistic Living Chan, Exploration of the Mind
(3) Spiritual Experience: Meditation, Chanting, Sutra Transcribing
(4) Visiting Buddhist sites in Taiwan.

8. Target Audience: Youth worldwide, ages 18 to 35

9. Number of Participants: 1,000 outstanding and talented youths worldwide

10. Registration Fee: FREE (Food and accommodation, seminar, transportation,
and tour fees will be sponsored by the organizers throughout the duration of
the seminar.)

11. Registration Deadline: June 25, 2011

12. Registration Requirements:
(1) Download the registration form from http://www.fgs.org.tw/events/lifeedu
(2) E-mail completed registration form along with letters of recommendation
from applicant’s education institute, professor, or Fo Guang Shan
departments to the co-organizer, and please call to confirm registration.
(3) Admission list will be posted on the official website on July 5.
