node "A" commands node "B" of every branching node dominating "A" also

dominates "B", and "A" itself doesnt dominate (because u can't command

sth. u dominate.)

c-command is the relationship between a node and its sisters, and all the

daughters of its sister

用中文說你可以想 A c-command它的姐妹跟姐妹的小孩

moreover,

A symmetrically c-commands B if A c-commands B and B commands A

A asymmetrically c-commands C if A c-commands C but C doesn't c-command A
