有三個問題一直想不出來

想請問…vowel 跟 consonant 是屬於哪一種呢?

(1)Give the phrase structure template in terms of X-bar analysis.
不太懂這個題目要怎麼做…
(2)Draw a tree structure with intermediate X-bar levels for the sentence
"That book about global warming has perhaps educated the public about
environmental issues."
只有學過畫 phrase structure tree 不太知道X-bar 確切該怎麼畫…

In studying language variation, there are independent variables which can be
used to analyze language variation. What are these variables?
