finally i found the root cause
it's just a problem of configuration
normally you will get into this problem if
1. you use Nvinda
and
2. you turn on compiz
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/127887
i fix this by
$>sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals
then restart Xwindow
i am not pretty sure the problem is fixed
but now i have tried for 5 min ,
the terminal works correctly now
for henjen and davidlin41
if you still have the same problem
you can give it a try
