[問題] 救命! 中文字型不見

[terrorist (恐怖份子)]

從 Fedora 10 upgrade 到 F12 之後不確定做了什麼事情但是

appearance -> fonts 下面

選 serif 可以看到中文
選 sans 就啥也看不見 或是看到方塊方塊

我覺得台灣的 locale 一直有問題 ...

請大德教我怎麼設定 這種東西怎麼沒有一個統一設定介面

然後 Fedora 下面 我發現 cjkunifonts 安裝的時候

/usr/share/fontconfig/conf.avail/64-ttf-arphic-uming.conf

裏面是長這樣
                <edit name="family" mode="prepend" binding="strong">
                        <string>AR PL UMing HK</string>
                        <string>AR PL UMing CN</string>
                        <string>DejaVu Serif</string>
                        <string>Bitstream Vera Serif</string>
                </edit>

可是我手動把
                        <string>AR PL UMing TW</string>

加上去也沒用 (共匪的陰謀 ...？)


X 啟動的時候會看到這個 ...

FreeType: couldn't find encoding 'big5-0' for '/usr/share/fonts/cjkuni-uming/umi
ng.ttf'

推 Adama:打locale看你的語系是設成什麼？
→ Adama:系統語系設定在system->administration->language
→ terrorist:我猜不是那種問題 ... 因為字型都還在 就是不顯示

推 iso9660:fc-cache -f  重跑？

推 Adama:選單沒有那要裝system-config-language
→ Adama:主要是懷疑你的locale設成big-5了，用utf-8會好很多
→ terrorist:locale -> LC_ALL 沒有其他是 en_US.UTF-8
推 Adama:那我就不知了，我也是en_US-utf8下用中文，Fedora 11

推 iso9660:重點是terrorist你到底看了語言設定是什麼了嗎？
