[問題] Linux >= 3.7 螢幕亂掉與當機

自從升級到 Fedora 18 後，嘗試過
  Linux 3.7   3.7.2   3.7.3   3.7.7   3.7.8   3.7.9   3.8

都會在載入 i915 驅動後螢幕變得亂七八糟、無法閱讀
X Window 無法正常啟動，並會在約半分鐘後當機
螢幕上看起來有類似 kernel panic 的訊息


CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU  650  @ 3.20GHz
圖形是內建的 Intel(R) Ironlake Desktop


因此目前只能繼續用 3.6.10-2.fc17.x86_64
請問這問題有方法可解決嗎？

推 JoeJohnson:建議你也試一下Ubuntu or SUSE
→ OrzOGC:xorg.conf砍掉試試.或是...等等等等
→ HamalAri:一樓是認真的嗎？ 然後現在有 xorg.conf 不多了吧
→ lantw44:還沒有進 X Window 就亂掉了，我也沒 xorg.conf
→ lantw44:openSUSE 和 Ubuntu 好像都還沒用 3.7
→ OrzOGC:看log找問題.不然大家也不知你是什麼問題
→ OrzOGC:我用f18 3.7.9 hd3450沒問題
推 Adama:何不在grub時進single用一陣子看看是kernel還是xorg的問題
→ Adama:說錯了，是進runlevel 3，無GUI多人模式
→ lantw44:single user mode 下一樣亂掉，是 kernel 的問題
→ lantw44:在還沒載入顯示驅動前是正常的，i915 進來就亂掉
發現前面那裡說錯了，是 關機 才會 kernel panic

(正常應該要是 no error state collected 才對)

請問這些能幫助解決問題嗎？

→ lantw44:改成 intel_iommu=off 就一切正常，實在太奇怪了！
