2010 年初時 Red Hat + CentOS + Fedroa 佔 53.2% 的 linux web server
當時 Debian + Ubuntu 只佔了 37.1%
但是到了今年十月
Red Hat + CentOS + Fedroa 佔 37.3%
Debian + Ubuntu 佔 58.6%
最後有提到統計的分佈
Debian - 德國 法國 義大利 西班牙 俄羅斯 東歐
CentOS - 日本 中國 印度 越南 英國
Ubuntu - 南非 澳洲 巴西 阿根廷 瑞士 挪威
Red Hat - .edu 跟 .gov
Red Hat 在 server 上的起步早 市佔率跟廠商支援也都比較好
但是現在 Debian + Ubuntu 後來居上 相信以後廠商會對 debian 系統有更好的支援
