或許是新官上任三把火，新上任的Atreyu今天又發了一篇關於LOTS現況及未來發展的文

因為很長，所以簡單翻譯一下，翻的不好的地方請多包含


Welcome, one and all, to an exciting new chapter in Suns history! My name is
Atreyu, and I will be your host, guide and new Project Manager from here
onward towards an exciting new journey for LoTS. Today, I bring you the long
awaited State of the Game, which will briefly cover various features, as well
as potential things to come.

So long Trinity, and Thanks for All the Fish!

感謝已經離開的Trinity

While Trinity has left our ranks, her vestige still remains. During the time
she served the community, she helped with zone production, various other
design aspect of Suns, and was even involved with part of the Cloorian Pants
treasure hunt (ya hear?). Trinity also committed her efforts to creating the
primary structure of the Galaxy Dome revamp which was recently released to
the community. In addition, her simulacrum exists as Officers and Equipment
pieces, which can still be acquired through current and possibly future
expedition cycles.

It is an honor and a privilege for me to continue where Trinity left off, and
carry on the glory and dream for Suns. While she may no longer be present on
the Development end, the legacy she brought to the game continues to live on
towards a wonderful and exciting future for the game.

細數Trinity的豐功偉業，包括論壇管理、任務區域設計、彩虹褲謎語設計，甚至還有最
近的GD翻新。

最重要的是Trinity精神永在，至少你現在還能在騙錢包裡開到模仿她造型的指揮官，當
然未來騙錢包更新後那些模仿她設計的套裝、船之類的東西可能會再出現。

Galaxy Dome Revamp, Now Live!

(說真的不過是從DOTD仿過來的結果還搞這麼久 ..)

The Galaxy Dome: full of wonder, excitement and joy…

As well as pain, bloodshed, and tears of those you’ve defeated.

Another new, exciting chapter opens for Suns with an all new Galaxy Dome
Revamp! Now with 44 ranks and additional rewards to claim, for those who are
strong enough to win.

Several other changes include a new interface, more safety nets, reduced
requirements to ascend between each level, and now HP from your team and
yourself are taken into power calculations.

Also, the development team appreciates your passionate and constructive
feedback, as it is an important part of developing our ever expansive game.
Because of that, we were able to deliver a quick hotfix to fine tune your
Galaxy Dome experience and make it more enjoyable and accessible. Things like
reduced stamina cost, increasing the visual rank range of opponents, and
clarity on the battle logs were such things that were modified thanks to the
community’s input. Meanwhile, expect an update coming soon with upgraded
items currently on the list, as well as additional ranks with new rewards in
the horizon!

簡單介紹這次的GD翻新，包含44個新階級、更多的獎勵、更酷的介面、更多的安全線(階
級不會降到安全線之下)，還有HP現在可以正確加成你的GD戰力。

開發團隊感謝來自論壇的反應讓他們昨天可以臨時更新，GD系統現在變的更平易近人，像
是sta消耗量減少、log顯示改善，當然未來會有新的階級跟獎勵加入，目前已有的獎勵物
品也會翻新。

Wahsh Al-Sahraa: A Unique Alliance Raid

獨特的工會副本︰沙蟲

This past March, players engaged against Wahsh Al-Sahraa, a 100-player raid
that allowed alliances an opportunity to work together as a team and earn
rewards together. Many alliances faced the challenge, and through diligent
cooperation, rallied together to triumph victoriously. For those alliances
who have yet to complete this challenge, remember that the lower difficulties
are there to assist you in gathering the resources needed to tackle on the
higher levels of Wahsh, and have the chance to earn greater rewards.

簡述沙蟲這個100人限制的工會副本有多特別巴拉巴拉，相信很多工會都已經在鞭屍沙蟲了
，不過還是有些工會打不過沙蟲，考慮一下低難度的沙蟲吧!除了比較好殺以外，低難度沙
蟲掉的東西也會有助於你打敗高難度的沙蟲。

What can you expect in the near future for our beloved game?

讓我們來看看接下來會有什麼新玩意

Thugby PvP! Cleomedes hinted in our forums earlier that the bloody and
violent sports entertainment event we’ve understood in our Sun’s lore, is
in the very early stages of development with an initial design. This will be
one of the many future aspect of Suns that will make it a distinguished game
from Dawn.

血腥橄欖球賽!(PVP)

這是個Cleomedes計畫很久的PVP新玩意兒，也是有別於DOTD的殺手級產品!

A new race: the Vlargs! They are a species of aliens who have evolved to
adopt the traditions and culture of their ancestral hunting ways across the
galaxy. Those of you who are as much of a story aficionado as I am will be
pretty excited to see what this new race looks like, and how they will tie-in
to the lore of the Suns universe. A new introduction to a race means an
opportunity for variety and flavor to new content such as Vlarg themed items.
Meanwhile, the Limited Edition Vlarg sets are in stores now, so claim them
while you can, the current Vlarg item cycle won’t stay up for much longer!

一個新的種族︰the Vlargs

簡單來說就是騙你趕快去買目前首頁推出的Vlargs套裝
(一堆舊種族的指揮官/船員都還不足就又推新的 ..)

Update to several items you’ve all grown to love (sitting in your
inventory). All jokes-inside-parentheses aside, as a player I was fully aware
of the outdated nature of several items, including the ones in our AP
achievement bags, Facilities and our GD reward items (which I am working on
at the time of this writing). Now as your Project Manager, I intend to update
these items over time to make them relevant to the growth of Suns, as well as
explore any other current items that need their own updates as well.

更多的物品翻新!

預計先動手翻新的是AP跟GD的獎勵物品(GD的部分目前已著手進行)，還有設施生產出來的
東西，當然視情況還會有更多舊物品被翻新，以符合目前LOTS的遊戲強度

Evolving Suns into a distinct game, separate from Dawn. I know we have a
playerbase that loves to play all iterations of our 5PG line-up (and, we
thank you wholeheartedly for enjoying our games). Meanwhile, those of us who
have been through the history of Suns, and played both Dawn and Suns in
particular, have wanted to see distinction between the two for awhile now.
And I absolutely empathize and agree with this thought, especially as a
player who is coming into the Development team. This is a direction I want to
take with Suns, but keep in mind that evolution is a slow but necessary
process. Together, I know we can make this vision into a reality. Please help
us make your Suns gaming a unique experience by continually providing us
thoughtful and constructive feedback to current, newly released, or even
future content we can explore.

一個和DOTD截然不同的遊戲!

很多人都會同時玩5th所有的遊戲，然後就會發現他們之間非常驚人的相似度，新來的PM
在成為PM之前也是個LOTS的玩家，當然明白這種情況，所以開發團隊會努力蒐集各方意見
，目標是不再讓LOTS和DOTD像是同個模子刻出來的孿生兄弟

There is also something secret that is in the works which will launch
exclusive to Suns, something…lab worthy. This element is still over the
budding horizon, and hasn’t started to shine yet, but I’m confident that
this future implement will be a step towards the right direction in keeping
the game we love set on its own path towards a unique gaming experience.

偷偷透露一下目前LOTS有個獨家秘密計畫～～一個讓長頸鹿變的更～強壯的計畫。
當然，所有關於計畫的細節還在萌芽階段所以不便透露，不過開發團隊相信這個計畫將有
助於將LOTS和DOTD做一個徹底的劃分!
(我想大概就是長頸鹿跟胖頸鹿的區別吧)

結語

The prospects for Suns looks fantastic and full of possibilities. As your new
Project Manager, I am honored to be part of a community that is equally as
passionate about this game as I am. It will be exciting to see the
development of the future together, and what potential excitement is in store
for all of us.
