No, that headline is not a joke, the enigmatic French star Bernard Diomede
will no longer grace the Anfield stands on matchdays.
The World Cup winner, who joined the Reds for ￡3m from Auxerre, has been
loaned out to French first division side AC Ajaccio until the end of the
season.
It is to be hoped that Diomede can impress enough in order to earn a
permanent deal. Farewell Bernard, we hardly knew you.
