Here's one way of looking at the michael owen situation

If ure girlfriend for a number of years who you love (owen at liverpool for
a number of years,who was loved by the fans) says she will marry you and has
been telling you this for over a year (owen telling liverpool for over a year
that he was going to sign a new contract) you are in a transition period and
you dont know what the future may hold (liverpool get a new manager rafa and
are in a transition period) your girlfriend doesnt know whether to trust you
and stay by you during this transition period (owen didnt trust rafa and
didnt give him a chance)

Then all of a sudden she hears that some spanish stud is interested in her
(Real Madid) this stud wants to take her to madrid with him with promises of
riches (more trophies ie. the cl) all of a sudden she leaves you high and dry
to go of with this spanish fella just when you need her most. But the spanish
fella is not what she expexted and his promises of riches have not come true.
The spanish stud repeatedly leaves her on the side (on the madrid bench) while
playing around with other girls (using other players instead of owen).

your ex girlfriend hears from a friend that you (liverpoolfc) had one of the
best years of your life you got a new job things are looking up for the future,
all the riches your ex was looking for you got and experienced without her
(winning the cl). you have a new girlfriend (Baros) who might not be as good
lookin as owen (aka baros is not as good a goal scorer as owen) but at least
she is loyal although you are thinkin of dumping her (baros being kicked out
of liverpool) but you do have a few suitors (Cisse,Morientes,Crouch) who you
are not sure about, but they have a lot of potential and with work and some
help could become incredible

So now your ex girlfriend (owen) is jealous and wants to come back to you
(liverpool) saying she made a mistake and that she would of regreted it for
the rest of her life if she hadnt of gone with the spanish stud to spain and
is practically begging you to take her back


WOULD YOU TAKE HER BACK??????????????????????????
