Agger back in action Liverpool defender Daniel Agger played 45 minutes for the reserves as he returned to action from injury. The Danish stopper played his first 45 minutes since coming back to fitness in the first half of Liverpool reserves' 2-0 defeat at Manchester City on Wednesday. The 21-year-old has only played a minor role since joining The Reds from Brondby in January, but Rafa Benitez thinks highly of the centre half. Agger says he felt no ill effects on his return to action, as he hopes to get some late action for Liverpool in their final Premiership game of the campaign at Portsmouth. "I feel it went fine and I didn't notice the injury," Agger told Onside.dk. "My fitness is okay and I feel myself that I did what I should have." Agger hopes to press his claims for his inclusion in Liverpool's FA Cup final squad to take on West Ham in Cardiff. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.113.139.57
