Rafa warns off Real Madrid
Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez insists the club have not been approached by
Real Madrid regarding the availability of Xabi Alonso.
貝帥再次強調說Xabi是非賣品。
A report published in Spain today claims that Real have tabled an official
bid of ￡20million for the Spanish international.
皇馬據說已經正式拿出￡20m求購西班牙國腳。
Despite the player, the player's agent and Rafa having already said that he
isn't interested in a move, the boss still felt the need to make a personal
call himself.
雖然球員、經紀人、還有貝帥都說Xabi不想走，但是皇馬主席好像還是不死心。
Rafa said: "This report isn't true and we've not had a bid.
"I've spoken to the people in Madrid and told them there is no chance of us
selling Xabi.
"Xabi has already said he's happy here so there's no possibility of him
leaving."
