Chile coach Nelson Acosta has revealed he may attempt to call up Liverpool
winger Mark Gonzalez for the upcoming South American World Cup qualifiers.

的"Speedy" Gonzalez
The Reds star retired from international football at the age of just 21 after
being disgusted when he was sent home from the country's tour of Europe back
in May.
但是Speedy已經在21歲時因為厭惡Acosta不分青紅皂白將他驅出國家隊而宣佈從此退
出國家隊. 若是他要為國家隊出賽, 至少不是Acosta帶領的智利.
Both Gonzalez and team-mate Reinaldo Navia were disciplined when three girls
were discovered in their room 24 hours after a friendly with Republic of
Ireland as Acosta refused to believe they were merely autograph hunters.
Gonzalez has declared he will not play for his country under the current
management, but Acosta seems keen to end the feud.
"Maybe I could call him up for the South American World Cup qualifiers," said
Acosta.
"He could also be called up by another coach, I do not know about the
future."
Gonzalez has, however, been left out of the squad to face Colombia in a
friendly match on August 16.
