Liverpool have made a new bid for Feyenoord's Dirk Kuyt.
Liverpool are close to agreeing a ￡10m transfer for Dutch striker Dirk Kuyt.
The Reds initally offered Feyenoord ￡6m plus Jan Kromkamp and Jerzy Dudek
for Kuyt but that offer was rejected by the Dutch side who wanted a cash only
deal.
After selling Djimi Traore to Charlton, Liverpool have been able to match
Feyenoord's ￡10m valuation and Rafael Benitez is hopeful of having Kuyt on
board in time for the start of the league season.
