Wolves are hoping to complete a season-long loan deal with Liverpool for
21-year-old Darren Potter.
"Darren is here and he is having scans," Wolves manager Mick McCarthy told
the club's website.
"He is a talented player and we are hoping to wrap up a loan deal pretty
soon. I watched him last year at Southampton and he impressed me.
"He is a modern day centre midfielder. He is young and hungry and we are
happy to see him here at Wolves."
Potter is a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international who has made 17
appearances for the first team at Liverpool.
