Liverpool eyeing summer swoop for Lyon star
Liverpool are trying to put together a deal to sign Lyon star Michel Bastos,
according to reports in the French press.
With Kenny Dalglish likely to be handed the reigns at Anfield on a permanent
basis, club owners FSG are ready to back him in the transfer market this
summer, after splashing out on Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez in January.
According to reports in France the Liverpool management team have identified
27-year-old Michel Bastos - who can either play left-back or on the wing - as
one of their top targets, and have already made enquiries about buying the
Brazilian in the summer.
