I'm writing to give advance notification about our patch tomorrow.

We will be going live tomorrow with the new User Interface (UI) that has been on the public

test server for a while. Our teams have been working non-stop over the last few weeks to fix as

many bugs and usability issues...however, now we need your help.
明天我們將進行第六版的更新，這個版本己經開放測試了一段時間，我們團隊在過去幾個星期不眠不休的進

行bug的修正，也探討了一些可行性高的提案，現在我們需要各位的協助

We are going live with the new UI because we need more feedback than we are getting on the

Public Test server. We have put a lot of design effort into the process, involving UI design

consultants, usability tests, and user feedback to produce a greatly improved user experience,

as well as a unified window environment.

We recently conducted usability tests with users who had never played GoPets before. The new UI

scored quite well, with key elements such as the radial menu, improved inventory and messaging

system scoring clear wins over the old design. In addition, we received very good feedback

enabling us to further refine the interface.

We have some very clear improvements that you can enjoy right away. The IKU messaging system

has been reborn as the Post Office. In one place, you can send IKU messages, read your incoming

messages, send gifts or money to others, and check on sent and received items and messages.

Very convenient and easy to use!
現在有些確定的更新內容可以說出來讓大家驚喜一下，像iku的訊息傳遞方式，將要重生變成像是一個郵政系

統，你將可以在同一個介面，進行下列操作，像是送出iku訊息，讀取訊息，送禮或傳送貝殼，當然也可以查

?接收傳送的物品或訊息清單，這是個多麼方便使用的功能啊！！！

In addition, we are introducing a new COD system. When selling items directly to another user,

you can send the item with a COD amount indicated...the recipient won't get the item in their

inventory until they send you the shells for it. Makes selling a lot safer! The system is in

place, we will continue to refine it after patching.
除此之外，讓我們來介紹一下新的貨到付款系統(cod)，當你賣東西給另一位玩家時，你可以傳送物品時使用

cod，設定總金額貨到付款，接收物品的對方如果沒有付出指定金額的貝殼，他就不能拿到物品，這個新的系

統將可以讓交易更加安全，更新後我們也會持續地研發cod系統

The other thing that we are able to now do is increase the item limits on your scenes! Regular

users will have the ability to have 250 items out while we are increasing Premium users’

limits to 400 items.

We have other improvements in the works and our teams are going to be focusing on fixing bugs

and cleaning up the new UI systems...and this is where you come in.

We need your help. I will be starting a new thread on patch day as a place to post bugs and

issues you might have found with the new UI. We realize that this may not be a welcome change,

but we've been planning to change GoPets from multiple window interfaces to a more logical

single window and this new UI is much better than the old one. Now, we are asking for your help

to improve on it further. Also, we will be doing giveaways and contests through the rest of

this month.

will be bugs and some issues, and we want to fix them all…I am asking you for your patience

and understanding while we go through this process together.
