1. Open your terminal (console)
2. locate your home folder (or the root under any specific drive)
and type the following commands:
$ sudo rm -r .Trash
$ sudo rm -r .Trashes
[Note] You may use "ls -a" to check if these two hidden folder exist.
3. Log out and log back in
I found this solution several months ago, and It should work if my memory
dosen't go wrong. Good luck :)
