MINNEAPOLIS -- On Thursday, the Twins signed Chris Parmelee, their first-round pick and the 20th overall selection in this year's First-Year Player Draft. Parmelee, an 18-year-old outfielder who bats and throws left-handed, hit .407 with 11 home runs and 26 RBIs as a senior at Chino Hills (Calif.) High School. Citing a club policy, the Twins didn't release the terms of the contract. "It was our objective this year to target, select and sign impact bats, and Chris Parmelee was at the top of our list," said Twins scouting director Mike Radcliff. "We believe Chris has the potential to be a middle-of-the-order bat in the Major Leagues." Parmelee will be assigned to the Gulf Coast League Twins (Rookie), and he was signed by scout John Leavitt. A 6-foot-1, 200-pounder, Parmelee was named a first-team All-American by Baseball America this season. The Twins have signed 15 of their 51 picks from the Draft, including 11 of their top 19 picks. 很明目張膽的賺P幣... 不過我會把它拿來壓賭的... -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.114.50.194
