Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said he heard about Matt Garza's three-hit
shutout for Class AAA Rochester against Charlotte by the seventh inning of
Tuesday night's Twins game.


"Well, I'm trying not to set my sights on him," Gardenhire said. "He just got
moved up to Triple-A. We're hoping that he does well in Triple-A, and if he
continues to pitch like that, then obviously, sure, that could be something
that could really help us out in August, September.
